Recently, the agreement was a sign of the normalization of relations between the United Arab Emirates and Israel.
Around the same time, the relationship of the Subcontinent to the world is reorienting equally significantly.

Deteriorating Pakistan’s relationship with the Arab world

While Pakistan seems to dream of a new regional alliance with Turkey and Iran.
Pakistan is also betting that as part of its efforts to oust America from the Middle East, a growing China and an assertive Russia would both help this new geopolitical development.

The Arab World Hazard

Saudis and Emiratis see both Turkey and Iran as sharpening existential threats to their kingdoms.
Now both Turkey and Iran interfere in the internal affairs of the Arab world with impunity.
Two other states have joined that Great Game.
Malaysia’s Mahathir has pictured himself as an Islamic world leader.
Arab Qatar, locked in a fraternal rivalry with the Saudis and the Emirates, needs to play a great role in the Middle East for itself.

India’s Arab Sovereignty would follow five criteria

1) India must overcome the temptation to tell the Arabs what is best for them.
India will support its peace efforts with non-Arab neighbours, including Israel, Turkey and Iran.
2) Resisting international interference in the Arab world. Many have come from the West and Israel in the past.
Today most Arabs see Turkish and Iranian interventions as the greatest threat to their stability.
3) Extending support for Arab economic integration, political reconciliation intra-Arab countries and strengthening regional institutions;
4) Consider the near alignment of India’s geopolitical interests with those of the moderate Arab Centre, including Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Oman.
5) In West Asia, India cannot be passive in the face of emerging geopolitical realignments.
Several leaders of the emerging coalition — Turkey, Malaysia and China — were the most vocal to challenge the territorial integrity of India in Kashmir.
