Indian Army NCC Special Entry Recruitment: Indian Army has issued a notification for NCC Entry Scheme 54 Course Short Service Commission (NT) for Men and Women (Including Wards of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel) on joinindianarmy.nic.in.

Unmarried male and unmarried female candidates can apply for the Indian Army NCC Course.

NCC Special Entry Vacancy Details

  1. NCC Men – 50 (45 for General Category and 05 for Wards of Battle Casualties of Army personnel only)
  2. NCC Women – 05 (04 for General Category and 01 for Wards of Battle Casualties of Army personnel only).

NCC Entry Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

Educational Qualification: A bachelor’s degree from a recognised university or an equivalent degree with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 50% across all years.

Final Year Students: Students in their final year are eligible to apply if they have received a minimum of 50% aggregate in the first two/three years of a three/four-year degree course. If suggested, such students must achieve an overall aggregate of at least 50%, failing which their candidature would be canceled.

NCC Entry Age Limit:

Age Limit – 19 to 25 years

NCC candidates (including wards of battle casualties) must be between the ages of 19 and 25 as of July 1, 2023. (born not earlier than 02 Jul 1997 and not later than 01 Jul 2003; both dates inclusive).

Selection Process for Indian Army NCC Posts

Shortlisted candidates will be called by SSB for a two-stage selection procedure to be held at Selection Centres: –

  1. Allahabad (UP),
  2. Bhopal (MP),
  3. Bangalore (Karnataka) and
  4. Kapurthala (PB).
